General Policies

Register early
Priority Registration (for fall and wntr/spring semesters) will be given to existing (in-studio) families first. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Although you may join our classes at any time, register early since class sizes are limited and many fill quickly. Registering early will also ensure that we will have your child's materials for you at your first class. A minimum of four students is needed or the class will be cancelled.  **Priority Registration does not apply to summer classes-- these classes are open registration.

Fees: Registration and Tuition

The registration fee plus tuition equals the total cost of each semester class. The registration fee reserves a place for your child in the class of your choice, and is non-refundable. It includes the cost of high quality home materials (with tax, shipping and handling) from Kindermusik International. This fee is to be paid when the registration is submitted. (Materials are required to accompany the Kindermusik classroom experience and will not be distributed to anyone not attending classes.) Balance is due on/before the first class.

A monthly payment plan is available- contact director. If paying semester tuition monthly, please pay tuition in the first three months of the semester, in three equal payments. (The fourth month of the semester is reserved for priority registration fees for the next semester.) Contact the director if interested in using the monthly payment plan. Late fees will apply.

Late payments (after the 10th of the month) incur a $10/month fee. Return checks are charged $20.

Discounts:

Family Discount- $10/sibling  (Discount taken off tuition of second, third, enrolling child) (Family discounts do not apply to summer classes OR private lessons.)

Referral Discount: $10 for each registered referral...ALWAYS! 

Healthy/Happy Policy: According to Kindermusik International guidelines, each adult and child must apply hand sanitizer before and after class. Please do not come to class if your child has had fever/diarrhea in the last 24 hours or has a contagious cough.

Cell Phone Usage: We kindly request our parent/caregivers to turn cell phones to vibrate or off during class and if an emergency call needs to taken, it can be done outside the classroom so as to not disturb the class. Thank you!

Policy on Non-enrolled Siblings: Due to limited class size and the goal of one-on-one parent/child interaction, we ask that those enrolled in Village and Our Time classes make arrangements for siblings during weekly class times. An exception can be made when the sibling is young enough to be content in a car carrier during the 45 minute class. In cases where an older sibling needs to come to a particular class, (school holidays, etc.), the older sibling will be expected to sit quietly outside the class circle.

Make-up classes:
Make-up classes are offered during the semester in which you have enrolled and paid. The structure of our program does not allow an open policy for make-ups. Requests for make-ups, per semester, must be made before or on the day of the missed class with your child's teacher. Please understand we cannot allow make-up classes to carry over to other semesters.

Monday Holidays: The studio does NOT recognize Monday government holidays as far as class scheduling is concerned. Teachers are not obligated to offer make-ups for students who miss lessons because of a Monday holiday.

Refunds/credits:
Tuition refunds or credit vouchers may be given if there are extenuating circumstances requiring withdrawal from class. All refund requests will be considered on an individual basis.  The deposit fee plus a $20 processing fee are non-refundable.

Snow Day/Winter weather policy
We will observe Omaha Public School winter weather closings. Pay particular attention to the "after school" cancellations, as they will affect our late afternoon and evening classes. Classes cancelled due to winter weather closings will not be required to be made up.        ****************************************************************************************************************
